Work performed
Major renovation of the bathroom, including elimination of the moisture source from neighbors and full waterproofing
Project and Technical Calculations:
Major bathroom renovation involving plumbing replacement and remediation of severe moisture and mold issues, originating both internally and from neighboring units.
Dismantling of Existing Finishes:
Discovery of critical defects: Complete tile removal revealed a total lack of waterproofing in the original bathroom.
Removal of multiple layers of mold and mildew beneath the tiles that had accumulated over the years, posing a health threat to the residents.
Breaking down concrete to clear the subfloor base.
Installation of Engineering Systems:
Eliminating an external leak (2 weeks): Identification and a two-week negotiation with neighbors to repair a defective leaking pipe in their unit that was dripping directly into our bathroom.
Bathroom waterproofing: Creating multiple layers of new, reliable waterproofing within the bathroom.
Waterproofing of the adjacent wall: Identification and resolution of the peeling paint issue on the living room wall adjacent to the bathroom. Additional multi-layer waterproofing was applied to the living room side of the wall to completely eliminate moisture seepage.
Bathtub installation: Mounting of a new bathtub with mandatory soundproofing to eliminate unwanted noise during use.
Substructure Installation:
Cleaning and preparation of the concrete base for the new tiles.
Finishing and Furnishing:
Installation of new plumbing fixtures and final bathroom finishing.
